Class description: learn (or refresh) foundational skills including throwing, trimming and glazing techniques. Class price includes all tools, clay, and kiln firings.

Liz is a "real life" high-school pottery teacher...anyone who can get good pots out of teenagers like Liz means you're in very capable hands.
Liz has been a potter for around 10 years - in fact, you might occasionally see her work around town in shops or pop-ups. She's also been known to juggle with fire.
As a high-school art teacher, Liz specializes in making imagination come to life. Her level 2 potters thrive when they bring project ideas that may seem a bit out of their skill level.
Through fun weekly challenges, Liz pushes her students to fail fast so they can achieve even greater heights (literally) with their work.
Who can participate: While we're big kids at heart, Half Moon isn't quite set up for kids' classes quite yet. We're hoping to have some kid-friendly offerings later this year. For safety reasons, our classes are currently open to artists age 15 and older.
Registration tips: Our studio has 6 wheels, so there are only 6 spots total available in classes. The shopping cart will automatically update and will not allow you to purchase more spots than we have available. Spots go quickly, so get to clicking!
Intro to wheel - Tuesdays w/ Liz
Your spot in class is a space we block off just for you! Our small class sizes allow for more one-on-one instruction, but that also means cancellations make a big impact. In our series classes, we allow cancellations until a week before class. Any cancellations made 6 - 3 days before the first class will only qualify for a 50% refund, unless we're able to re-book your spot. Cancellations made later than 2 days before class will unfortunately be ineligible for a refund.
