What do I wear?to put it briefly...play clothes! We do not use dark clays, so if you get clay on your clothes, it should wash out. That being said, PLEASE don't wear anything you'd be sad to get dirty! We're going to get dirty. Close-toed shoes are a smart idea. Leave jewelry at home (especially rings!) Jewelry is dangerous to wear for a beginner on the wheel. We have places to store your valuables, but it's best to leave it. If you have long hair, it MUST be tied up before you work on the wheel. (we have extra hair bands just in case)

Are masks required? We're a "choose your own adventure" kind of operation - masks are welcome, but not required. Classes are typically limited to 7 people total (including your instructor). Your instructor is fully vaccinated.

How do I get there? We're located inside historic Building 13 at Banbury Place. Use the 930 Galloway Street entrance - look for the green awning Go down to the end of the hallway, and take the elevator to floor 1 When you get off the elevator, you'll see signs - take a right off the elevator, an immediate left, and then another left. We're in suite 117 (right across from Big Donkey Pizza)

Do I get to take my stuff home with me?Pottery is a process that can take a few weeks. All of our participants get to choose a glaze, and our studio assistants will make sure to glaze your piece for you. You'll receive an email when it's ready to pick up (usually 2 - 3 weeks after class). If you are participating in the "Intro to Pottery" 6-week course, you will glaze your own work and then pick up 1 - 2 weeks after our final session.

How do I pay?You can purchase a class on our site, or pay with cash, credit card, or Venmo when you arrive at class. If you're paying the day of class, please arrive just a few minutes early. We start instruction right on time.
