There are only good questions.

  • When are you going to list more classes?
We list classes approximately every six weeks. It's tough to be popular...we unfortunately sell out pretty quickly after listing a new round of classes. If you've been trying to sign up with no luck, we have a secret tip to skip the line: private groups! If you've got a group of 5 - 6 we can host a workshop just for you. Email our team to get started.
  • Do you do kids' classes?
We occasionally offer kids' hand-building workshops, as well as workshops through the Eau Claire Library and Children's Museum. We don't currently offer any dedicated childrens' wheel classes at the studio. We highly recommend checking out Meadowsong Studios in fall creek!
  • Do you sell gift cards?
Unfortunately no. Our teeny tiny class sizes means gift cards aren't really a feasible option for us right now. If you sign up for a class as a gift, let us know and we're happy to send you a printable "gift certificate" so your giftee has something to unwrap!
  • How do I sign up?
Our favorite question! We'd love to see you in studio. See our current schedule and sign up here
  • What do I wear?
To put it briefly...play clothes! We use white clay, so any clay you get on your clothes should wash out. That being said, PLEASE don't wear anything you'd be sad to get dirty! We're going to get dirty. Close-toed shoes are a smart idea. Leave jewelry at home (especially rings!) Jewelry is dangerous to wear for a beginner on the wheel. We have places to store your valuables, but it's best to leave it. If you have long hair, it MUST be tied up before you work on the wheel. (we have extra hair bands just in case)
  • How do I get there?
We're located at the historic shops at Banbury Place. Our address is 930 Galloway Street (look for the entrance with the green awning). When you walk into the building, you'll see an industrial scale on your right. You're in the right place! Go down to the end of the hallway, and take the elevator to floor 1. Take a right off the elevator, and then an immediate left. When you get to Morley's Golf Clubs, take another left. We're down the hall in suite 117.
  • Do I get to take my stuff home with me?
Pottery is a process that can take a few weeks. All of our participants get to choose a glaze, and our studio assistants will make sure to glaze your piece for you. You'll receive an email when it's ready to pick up (usually 3 -4 weeks after class). If you are participating in the "Intro to Pottery" 6-week course, you will glaze your own work and then pick up 1 - 2 weeks after our final session.
