Class description: This class combines the best of both worlds - wheel and hand-building. Participants in this class will get a chance to experiment with both hand-building techniques, and learn (or refresh) foundational skills on the wheel including throwing and trimming. This class is 8 weeks - a little longer than our normal beginners' classes - to give you extra practice time for bouncing between the wheel and hand-built projects.
Class price includes all tools, clay, and kiln firings.
Who can participate: While we're big kids at heart, Half Moon isn't quite set up for kids' classes quite yet. We're hoping to have some kid-friendly offerings later this year. For safety reasons, our classes are currently open to artists age 15 and older.
Registration tips: Our studio has 8 wheels, so there are only 8 spots total available in classes. The shopping cart will automatically update and will not allow you to purchase more spots than we have available. Spots go quickly, so get to clicking!
