Description:
This 4-week workshop is designed for anyone who is comfortable throwing basic forms, and is looking to take their forms to the next level.
This class will be demo-heavy! Each week, Lu will demonstrate new techniques. Students will have time to practice with an instructor, but will also have access to open studio hours for additional practice. During the next week's class we will evaluate progress and give feedback.
This is a great opportunity to add to your skill toolbox with one-on-one attention that will push your work to the next level.
Agenda:
Week 1: Altering forms on the wheel (faceting, fancy rims, etc.)
Week 2: Carving techniques: mishima vs. sgraffito
Week 3: Teapot skills (handles, spouts and lids)
Week 4: Slip Trailing, Hakame & stains

Your spot in class is a space we block off and prepare just for you! Our small class sizes allow for more one-on-one instruction, but that also means cancellations make a big impact.
Workshop materials are prepared 72 hours before class.
- Cancellations made between 72-48 hours before your workshop will only qualify for a 50% refund, unless we're able to re-book your spot.
- Cancellations made later than 48 hours before class will unfortunately be ineligible for a refund.
